Naturally though, Mc and the others didn’t want to wait. Her arms were shakey and her legs not responding at all but it was clear that she was conscious and wanted to continue so hesitantly the ref began to count. “Umm.right Natsuki is no long.” but he stopped short.
“Ref…” A single word from the monster was enough to break the referee out of his daze. He tried to jump into the ring but was held back by Sayori. But Mc couldn’t hold back, not after that. The crowd went into an uproar, how could a national champion, a world contender punch out a little girl like Natsuki? But still upset as they were the crowd did nothing, afterall he was Takamura the unexpected was more or less expected with him. Breaking protocol Takamura began to talk during the match “Ok, I get it.” But Natsuki didn’t get a chance to decipher his message at all as she instantly found herself face first into the mat. Natsuki began with a quick dash and instantly got into Takamura’s space she hit his ribs, his chest, she tried to get up to his face but there was too much of a difference in height. Neither fighter went to touch gloves, both stared up at each other (well Natsuki stared upTaka stared down) until the referee announced the start of the fight. And Takamura was like 6 weight classes higher than Miyata there was no way he was as fast. Natsuki was psyched even if they lose the best of 3 if she can beat Takamura they’d have basically won. He yelled for Natsuki to get out of there, but was completely ignored. This was a best of 3 match, he “was” their last fighter as in, there was never a chance of them to get to the 3rd match. Mc could only stare in awe, why was he here so soon? Shouldn’t he have been the last fighter? But looking at the collapsed Monika the logic became clear. As he dove in with his trademark Hawk outfit, the red haired announcer gave a spirited introduction. Nevertheless Natsuki walked forward to her ring, and as she did she was showered with applause.It would soon become apparent that this was less to do with her and more to do with her opponent who seemed to be universally hated amongst boxing fans despite being a legendary boxer by his own right.
And winning was a stretch, Monika was by far the most athletic of the group, if she couldn’t tag her opponent how could Natsuki? Even if Natsuki were to win, there wasn’t much of a chance that Mc could beat the strongest man in Japan. With their president down and their strategy already in shambles the literature club was in a panic.
